Make your own vegan pizza, and you are not longer having to rely on others to make it for you. You can now find quite a few vegan pizzas in shops, but most are wrapped in plastic, and quite a few leave something to be desired. Yet pizza is not just really easy to make, but also pretty healthy if you cover it in veggies, rather than four types of cheese! In Italy, most pizzas don’t even have cheese, this is more an American invention. And never tell an Italian that you eat pizza with pineapple, they will scoff at you! The main issue is the dough, as you don’t want palm oil. Finally, The Northern Dough Company has come up with what everyone’s after: a ready-made pizza dough made with olive oil. Also in a wholemeal and rosemary version, now it’s easy to make pizza, just add your toppings and bake. You can find it in good shops and supermarkets, or order online. Or just make your own 3-ingredient pizza crust (gluten-free – water, salt and buckwheat flour).
