Willow Earth cotton canvas coin purses

Willow Earth coin purses are lovely. They are made by a Sussex company, using offcuts from the canvas used to make their equally nice cotton rucksacks. Choose from many colours.

Some are made with cork, a ‘vegan leather’ made by stripping bark from trees every 9 years (no trees are cut down). In a world of plastic wine corks, keeping the cork industry alive also helps to protect forests from development, so also helps native wildlife.

Donate unwanted wallets and purses to small charity shops (that don’t test on animals). For items that are worn out, ripped or stains, place in local textile banks (the materials are shredded to make insulation and other industrial goods).
