We are not physical beings, we are souls housed in skin and bone. Yoga teacher Steve Ross once said that in scientific terms, we are basically just ‘bags of salty soup.’ So it’s important to know what’s underneath, as that’s what will be with you for life – and possible more lifetimes!
None of us know why awful things happen, especially sometimes to the kindest people. - Adventures in Opting Out is by Cait Flanders, whose life used to be a mess. But in the past 10 years, she has quit drinking, got out of $30,000 of debt, quit the office to work for herself, got rid of 80% of her stuff and embraced her nomadic lifestyle. Here she gives guidance to others, drawn from experiences on her own journey.
- The Mindful Guide to the Law of Attraction offers tips and meditations for mindful intentional living, including writing and focusing on positive energy to help your dreams. The author did not use these techniques to ‘manifest a car’. She slowed down her mind, to realise her dream of opening a sanctuary for rescued lions, far more in keeping with what the ‘universe’ wants.
