Easy Vegan Gravy (Minimalist Baker)
Make a proper jug of veggie gravy is just what you want on a Sunday afternoon with your veggie roast. But most gravy powders and stock cubes on the market either have meat or palm oil. We don’t want either! So you can buy good alternative gravies, or make your own. Keep these gravies away from pets, as they contain toxic ingredients like soy, garlic, onion, mushroom and salt.
- 9 Meals from Anarchy is a lovely stock developed by lads up north. This is sold in a glass jar with metal lid, and made with a rich mix of organic veggies (also in a Garden Herb or Umami Version (includes tamari).
- Steenbergs make excellent gravy powders, sold in little glass jars. These are made with real ingredients (don’t worry that they are called ‘chicken gravy’ or ‘pork gravy’, this is the description, they are all vegan).
